36th Annual Nyack Chamber of Commerce Halloween Parade

The Nyack Chamber of Commerce will celebrate the seminal cult classic midnight film, The Rocky Horror Picture Show at its 36th annual Halloween Parade. Marchers and floats will assemble at 3:00 pm for check-in and contest judging in Memorial Park at the corner of Depew and Piermont streets in downtown Nyack.

Registration is required for prize eligibility. Registration and judging will continue until 5:00 pm, followed by the parade step-off at 5:30 pm. The pet contest takes place at noon in Memorial Park!

Prize contestants – both costumes and floats — are encouraged to pre-register online to speed up the process on parade day. All contestants should plan to check in on parade day in Memorial Park for confirmation and photography.

This year’s parade will include a flash mob style dance troupe performing Time Warp along the parade route.

The much-anticipated prize award ceremony for costumes and floats will begin immediately after the parade on the Main Street stage in the center of town followed by a screening of The Rocky Horror Picture Show.

Parental guidance for the screening is advised. Not appropriate for children under 12.

A full-day activities including a parade, contests for the whole family with over $1,500 in prizes, pumpkin paint and an outdoor screening of the Rocky Horror Picture Show and more!
