Juneteenth Weekend 2024

Celebrate Juneteenth with a weekend of events with The Haverstraw African American Connection.

On Friday the African American flag will be raised at Village Hall with the mayor and town officials. Following the flag raising, meet at the Haverstraw African American Memorial Park for “G’s Jook Joint”. There will be music, dancing, and light refreshments for purchase.

On Saturday, also in front of the African American Memorial Park, there will be entertainment, musical groups, vendors, food, and a Kidzone.

On Sunday, be there for Gospel in the Park which will also celebrate fathers for Father’s Day.
