Amawalk Tree Planting

There’s nothing better than meeting up with friends and neighbors to take care of a river loved by all! Join members for three of New York’s premier Trout Unlimited Chapters: NYC Trout Unlimited, Croton Watershed, and Mid Hudson TU for their annual Amawalk Tree Planting. TU tree plantings are great ways to engage the entire family – so bring out your kids and help teach them the importance of working together as a community to care for and recover our rivers and streams. After planting is completed, folks will likely take to the river in the hopes of finding some rising fish to thank them for their efforts!

There will be some tools available, but volunteers are encouraged to bring their own gloves and shovels.
