Buba Blouse: Nigerian Hand Sewing & Stories

Explore African sewing with BPL Ambassador, Saratu Mshelia, as she tells us about her journey starting a fashion business based on Nigerian textiles and shows us how to sew an authentic African blouse.

Saratu Mshelia is a folklorist and cultural enthusiast from northeast Nigeria, who has found her passion in the craft of clothes making that promote African textiles by merging them with western designs.
