Drink Kong Guest Shift at Aqua New York

For one night only, Drink Kong – a World’s 50 Best Bar celebrated for its retro aesthetic and boundary-pushing mixology – will bring its signature cocktail experience from Rome to New York, kicking off Aqua’s guest shift series. Drink Kong is the perfect partner to lean into the bi-cultural tie-in. Like Aqua which serves both Italian and Japanese cuisine, Drink Kong is based in Rome and draws inspiration from Japanese culture, seamlessly blending the two revered cultures into one experience.

Expert mixologist, Davide Diaferia will be behind the bar, crafting Drink Kong’s most cutting-edge and visually striking cocktails throughout the evening, offering guests a rare chance to savor the artistry of one of Europe’s top cocktail bars without the international airfare.

In partnership with Weber Ranch Vodka, the two bars will be collaborating on a limited-edition cocktail: Aqua Kong Reverb, a sour-yet-refreshing combination of vodka, rhubarb honey and liquor, lemon juice, and pink peppercorn tincture, which will make its debut that evening and remain on Aqua Spirit’s menu following the event. In addition to the signature cocktail, Drink Kong will be serving up four of their most celebrated libations for the evening: Canova, Codex, Prisma, and Gaijin.
