Hedgehog Book Talk and Craft

Embark on a charming adventure with our discussion of Lauren Castillo’s delightful early chapter book, Our Friend Hedgehog: The Story of Us. Follow the brave Hedgehog as she sets out on a quest to find her lost friend, Mutty, and discovers something even more important along the way: the value of new friends and teamwork. After our engaging book talk, we’ll tap into our creativity for a unique craft session! Learn the art of book folding to transform an old paperback into your very own adorable hedgehog friend. All the necessary supplies will be provided, including, paperback books, googly eyes, felt, and glue, to give these up-cycled book creation a unique personality. It’s a fun and relaxing activity that gives new life to well-loved books.

This program is for children ages 7-12 years old.
