Morning Stroller and Sibling Tour

July 11, 11 am – noon.

Beat the crowds and enjoy a stroller-friendly tour before the Museum opens! This monthly program, designed for our youngest visitors (0–2 years), and now welcoming their older toddler-aged siblings, offers an intimate exploration of works in our exhibitions. Held every second Friday of the month, each session begins with a brief gallery conversation, followed by a playful activity such as storytime, art-making, puppetry, music and song, movement, or water play, led by storyteller and storyteller Sarah Provost.

In June, inspired by Bill Viola’s Moving Stillness: Mount Rainier 1979, we’ll explore the water cycle through hands-on water play with bins and spouts, parachute waves, and scarf dancing.

In July, inspired by George Morrison’s Collage × Landscape, along with other works in Smoke in Our Hair: Native Memory and Unsettled Time, we’ll explore the theme of wood through activities, including wooden collage, instilling and reinforcing math skills through block and puzzle play.

Capacity is limited; advance registration is recommended.
