Second Sunday Kids Crafts at the HSRC History Center

On the second Sunday of each month through October, the HSRC’s Education Department will host a hands-on children’s craft following the theme of the 2025 exhibition, “Home Grown: A History of Farming in Rockland County.”  July 13 features a make-your-own chicken or pig from construction paper. Paper and the googly eyes will be supplied; you bring the artistic talent.  And while you are there, don’t forget to visit the historic 1832 Jacob Blauvelt House and explore the exhibition.
