Teen Movie Night: He Named Me Malala

This event will take place in person at the Mott Haven Teen Center.

Join us at the Mott Haven Teen Center for our screening of He Named Me Malala  in honor of Women’s History Month. We will give out snacks, discuss, and do an activity based on the film.

The shooting of the then fifteen-year-old teenager sparked international media outrage. An educational activist in Pakistan, Yousafzai has since emerged as a leading campaigner for the rights of children worldwide and in December 2014, became the youngest-ever Nobel Peace Prize Laureate.”
