Wear Orange Cuomo Bridge Lighting

Wear Orange is a time for everyone in our community to come together to show our collective power in addressing gun violence. When high school student Hadiya Pendleton was shot and killed in 2013, her friends turned their grief into action, and wore orange to raise awareness about gun violence prevention. This June marks the 11th year we’ll be coming together to #WearOrange and take action.
Moms Demand Action invites you to our Wear Orange event Friday, June 6th from 6:30pm-9pm at Nyack Memorial Park, on the lower level by the gazebo. We will hear from gun violence survivors as we honor the memories of their loved ones, hear student musicians, and watch the Cuomo Bridge light up orange.
We will start gathering at 6:30pm and the program will start at 7pm. Bring a blanket, chairs, picnic, and friends and wear orange!
All around the country, people are coming together this June to spread a simple message: we can end gun violence!
