Westchester’s Winter Wonderland Drive Thru Holiday Light Extravaganza, presented by Westchester Medical Center Health Network, will return to Kensico Dam Plaza in Valhalla for its eleventh exciting season. Westchester’s most beloved interactive holiday event will be bigger and better than ever with thousands of electrifying lights creating magical vignettes, TWO 100-foot light tunnels and the best LIVE Santa Claus in Westchester making it accessible and convenient for all! New features for 2024 include:
A new 125-foot pixel LED wall filled with thousands of animated lights that will illuminate scenes of the winter night sky complete with captivating northern lights.
New Live Ice Queen Character that will greet guests at the beginning of the ride and create a magical snow experience for all to enjoy!
New Festivus Pole, straight out of a Seinfeld episode, where you can air your grievances at this traditional aluminum Festivus pole!
New OtoCast App that will allow families to hear magical stories of the larger-than-life light displays along the route.
Special themed nights including a Taylor ‘Swiftie’ Night November 27, Princess themed Night December 5, and family-friendly festive New Year’s December 31
Holiday classics will be simulcast through your vehicle’s FM radio, setting the mood from the moment you enter the park. Guests should allow 25-30 minutes to drive-thru the attraction.
The lighting masterpiece is designed by Peekskill based Eclectic Precision and Dark Tech Effects. Wegman’s is returning as the live character sponsor. Additional special event nights include the official tree lighting celebration on November 23 sponsored by Robison and a family-friendly festive way to ring in the New Year December 31 at Winter Wonderland sponsored by M&T Bank. Iona Preparatory School PK-12 in New Rochelle is also returning as the official app and music sponsor for the event.
