Yoga + meditation + Art Enrichment

Tuesdays, 4:45 – 6 pm, through March 25;

Throughout this series, students will learn fundamentals of Vinyasa yoga, various types of meditations, and pranayama. Explore emotions and ways of moving feelings through out bodies via yoga, breath work, and creative expression (painting, drawing and journaling). Weather permitting, time will be spent outdoors, enjoying walking meditations and fostering presence in nature. At least 15 minutes of each class will be dedicated to creative play, where students will explore whatever activities interest them and teachers will observe students—reminding them to implement mindfulness tools as any big emotions or conflicts arise. The depth of each class, as well as learning objectives will be adjusted based on age and ability.
